We have met Eliška Podešvová several years ago in her tattoo studio. For a while she only decorated our skin, but after some time it was clear that we would come up with something bigger together. We wanted to connect Eliška's illustrations and our pieces. We considered different options, but hand embroidery was the obvious choice. This way of connecting allowed us to keep the needle as the main means of expression. It brought together those in our sewing machines and Eliška's tattoos. 

JEN SEN is the artistic alias of tattoo artist and visual artist Eliška Podešvová. She was born in Ostrava, where she graduated from the School of Fashion Design and the University of Ostrava with a degree in Drawing. She is currently based in Brno and has been tattooing for several years. Her work is characterized by an overlap into illustration, in addition to watercolor painting and computer graphics. Her tattoo profession is blended with collaboration on clothing projects. In 2020, she designed a limited line of t-shirts for the silkscreen print workshop Test Print Platform. Her hand-embroidered motifs decorate our limited edition garments.
